The Game

I do not fancy football, I
think I have balls enough.
And know, another reason why
is that the game is tough.

When soccer was the name of it,
with socks they hit the ball.
Today one thinks it is more fit
to shame to let it fall.

And, dribble players never do.
To pass they rather will.
Of balls they should be given two.
That would the stadium fill.

And, I’ll say, nice to see a score
for sure is, by the seat.
In sofa seeing it is more
an awe for the repeat.

So, thank you, man, I will discuss.
And football once was fun.
Politically playing, thus,
I will not. Face the sun.
